From Mauritius Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport (MRU): Distance to Sugar Beach Resort is 55 kilometres, approximately 60 minutes' drive.
Getting there. The best way to travel to the resort is by taxi. A typical fare is approximately 33 EUR, and should be negotiated before departure. Prices are all subject to change. Helicopter transfers are also available, at extra cost on booking. Journey time is approximately five minutes. Prices all subject to change.
Getting around. Buses are available throughout Mauritius. Metered taxis are available, and have black and white registration plates. Bicycles are popular for exploring the area, and are available for hire from most resorts. A car is recommended for visiting the less touristy parts of the island.
