Weddings are hosted on most weekends. These are held in a separate part of the hotel but you may experience some noise if a band/disco is hosted, and bar areas may be busier than normal.
There is no food service on the 5, 6 and 19 December 2008. Due to local functions, the hotel is unable to offer any food service in the evening, unless you are attending the function.

- Exit the motorway at junction 25 and follow the A52 to Derby, then the A6 to Matlock.
From the M1 North:
- Exit the motorway at junction 28 and follow the A38 to Derby/Burton and follow the signs for the A6 to Matlock.
- The hotel is situated just off the A6 in Milford.
- Turn off the A6 at the King William pub.
- The hotel is approximately 230 metres later on the right-hand side.
