DRIVING TO THE HOTEL::
From Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG): Distance to Le Meurice hotel is 35 kilometres, approximately 40 minutes' drive.
Getting there. RER line B trains run from the airport to central Paris. Line B3 (Roissyrail) departs from Terminal 2 and runs to Denfert-Rochereau, St Michel, Chatelet les Halles, and Gare du Nord. Single tickets cost 7.85 EUR and journey time is about 25 minutes. Roissybus shuttles run from all three terminals to Place de l'Opera. Buses depart every 15 minutes, and single tickets cost about 8 EUR. Air France shuttles stop at the Arc de Triomphe. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. The hotel is located on Rue De Rivoli, opposite the Tuileries Gardens. Paris is easy to explore on foot, and there is a reliable, cheap metro (underground), which runs throughout the city and the suburbs. Buses are a great way to see the city's sights. Tickets can be purchased from bus drivers or from the machines in Metro stations. Regional RER trains run to destinations in the surrounding area. Taxis are available in the streets, but can be hard to find at busy times. Advance booking is recommended. Valet parking is available.
Driving directions. From Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport:
Take the highway towards Paris centre.
On the Peripherique (ring road), take the exit for Porte Maillot.
Take Avenue de la Grande Armee, which leads on to the Champs Elysees after the Arc de Triomphe.
Continue until the Place de la Concorde.
Turn left onto Rue Royale, and make an immediate right on Rue St-Honore.
Turn right at Rue St-Roch, and again right onto the one- way Rue de Rivoli.
Proceed to the hotel.
