This hotel combines tradition and lifestyle, history and modernity and has recently undergone renovations to extend its hotel and restaurant capacity. The extension also includes 2 conference rooms for up to 80 people, ideal for events of all kind.
FOOD AND RESTAURANTS:Welcome to the famous Blaue Ecke restaurant, dating as far back as 1578. Here, guests have enjoyed the hotel's hospitality for centuries. Now the classic Blaue Ecke-restaurant is updated with modern facilities, and next to it there is a completely new section called Adenauer.
In Adenauer, the atmosphere is more relaxed and the guests can enjoy smaller hot dishes as well as cakes, ice-cream and a wide selection of no less than 16 different coffees, plus beer and other beverages. We also have some 60 seating arrangemants outside, around the town fountain.
Upstairs, the two halls Rittersaal and Johannitersaal can be used together or separately for dinners, formal or private, for small parties or business meetings combined with a nice meal in historical surroundings.

ROOM DESCRIPTIONS:In this historical building from 1578, we offer rooms in the original "Blaue Ecke" style, fitted with furniture from the turn of the century. The tastefully furnished rooms in the new building are decorated in a modern country style.
The doubles can also be used as a single and rooms are available with a double bed or 2 twin beds. We offer rooms suitable for the mobility-impaired and also adjoining rooms for families.
DRIVING DIRECTIONSThe Blaue Ecke hotel is in the town of Adenau, close to the Nürburgring racetrack.
Three main access roads will take you to Adenau
* From the north you pass Cologne on the (A1), then follow the (A61) towards Koblenz. At junction (29), Meckenheimer Kreuz, you take the (B257) towards Altenahr and follow it the 30 km to Adenau.
* From the east, Frankfurt/Wiesbaden, you will pass Koblenz on the (A48) and then follow the (A61) (towards “Köln/Bonn”). Junction (33) (Adenau/Nürburgring) will take you on to the (B412), follow signs towards Adenau.
* From the south, over Trier, take the (A1) and the (A48) towards Koblenz. Turn off at junction (2) (B258 – Ulmen/Nürburgring). Follow (B259/B257), past Nürburgring to Adenau.
You will find Blaue Ecke on the market square, behind the fountain.
FREE CANCELLATION POLICYCancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later, 80 percent of all nights will be charged.
In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 40.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.
VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
