Getting there. The Flybus departs from the airport and travels to the city centre's BSI bus terminal. The bus stops at Gardaae and Hafnarfjordur on request, and journey time to central Reykjavik is approximately 45 minutes. Taxis are expensive, costing about 9,000 ISK (98 EUR) to the hotel. Getting around. Reykjavik city centre is compact and easy to explore on foot. An extensive public bus system operates throughout the city and the suburbs. Cycling is a popular way of getting around, and the city has numerous cycle paths.
