Getting there. The Flybus departs from the airport and travels to the city centre's BSI bus terminal. The bus stops at Gardabæ and Hafnarfjordur on request, and journey time to central Reykjavik is approximately 45 minutes. The Hotel Borg is in Reykjavik's city centre. Taxis are expensive, costing about 7,500 ISK-9,000 ISK (82 EUR-98 EUR) to the city centre. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Hotel Borg is on Posthusstroti. Reykjavik city centre is compact and easy to explore on foot. An extensive public bus system operates throughout the city and the suburbs. Buses operate from 7 a.m. to midnight, and single tickets cost 250 ISK (3.30 EUR). Cycling is a popular way of getting around, and the city has many cycle paths. There is parking available near the hotel. From Reykjavik Keflavik Airport:
Follow the signs for Reykjavik.
Drive straight through Hafnarfjordur.
Turn right towards the city centre.
After 10 to 15 minutes you will reach the Hotel Borg.
