The hotel is centrally located on Via Montanini, an elegant shopping street only 200 metres from the famous Piazza del Campo and very close to the bus station.

The hotel has a rich history and great character. Until 1262, it was a former palace owned by the noble Bulgarini family. Afterwards the building was owned by Ghinibaldo di Saracino and his wife Sapia Salvani. The old Ponzi’s tower can be seen in the hotel’s façade. In the 19th century, the hotel was called Locanda delle Armi d’Inghilterra and now it is known as Cannon d’Oro.

DRIVING DIRECTIONSBy Car:
-From Siena’s ring road, exit at Siena Ovest – Porta San Marco.
-Follow directions for Centro – Stadio – Fortezza.
-Travel along Strada di Pescaia.
-After the Traffic Lights keep right in Via Cesare Battisti.
-After 200 metres turn left (Via Monte Santo) and right (Viale Vittorio Veneto).
-Then get on Viale dei Mille.
-After 100 metres get on Viale Curtatone.
-On the right, get in No Traffic Zone Piazza Matteotti.
-Cross the square and after 30 metres of Via Pianigiani, you can find the hotel on the left side (Vicolo dell’Arco Malavolti – Via Montanini, 28).
From the A1 to Florence:
-Exit Firenze Certosa and get on the main road Firenze – Siena (Auto Palio).
-At Siena’s ring road exit at Siena Ovest – Porta San Marco.
From the A1 to Rome:
-Exit Valdichiana – Bettolle and get on the main road for Bettolle – Siena.
-At Siena’s ring road exit at Siena Ovest – Porta San Marco.
By Train:
From the railway station to the hotel, you can take bus number 7 and you get off at the last stop, Via della Stufa Secca (50 metres from the hotel).
By Bus:
The bus station (Piazza Gramsci) is only 100 metres from the hotel.
By Plane:
Florence Airport (Vespucci – Firenze): 70km.
Airport Galilei – Pisa: 120km.

Once you have finished with the reservation process You'll receive an automatic confirmation message from the hotel with all the hotel details. You will not receive any further communication from the hotel, since this confirmation message is definite.
