The Design hotel L First is a very new design hotel situated in an elegant 19th century house in a quiet and attractive part of the town, and yet extremely close to the city-center and the lake of Zurich.
The building was carefully renovated by the famous architect Pia Schmid and is a unique combination of passed century ambiance, powerfull colors and extraordinary materials.
The dynamic woman and the modern man will find in the hotel places to feel comfortable and relaxed; in our 28 well appointed rooms, by the fireplace in the lounge or in the rose garden.
FOOD AND RESTAURANTS:In order to provide you with a good start into the day we offer you a rich breakfast buffet containing many different sorts of bread, Bircher cereal and dishes from egg.
In the lounge with a fire place, in the privacy of your room, at the bar and in our little restaurant you have the choice between different Italian dishes.

ROOM DESCRIPTIONS:The hotel's 28 rooms are spread over 4 floors and accessable via a staircase or lift.
The single and double rooms vary in size and offer single beds, grand lits or double beds.
In addition to the listed facilities all rooms offer a bath or a shower and quality beds. Furthermore some of the rooms have a little balcony.
High ceilings, parquet flooring and a nice decoration create a special atmosphere.
One room suitable for disabled guests is also available.
NEARBY THE HOTELOur hotel is located in Seefeldquartier, a trendy neighbourhood right at the lake.
Thanks to our location you have easy access to the opera, the Bellevueplatz (square) and various restaurants and cafés nearby.
We recommend to leave your car in one of the car parks nearby. The car park Utoquai is located on Färberstraße and can be reaches via Dufourstraße if you turn right. Please note that you can’t turn from Bellerivestraße directly to Mainaustraße.
DRIVING DIRECTIONSBy airplane / train:
There are regular direct train connections from the airport to train station Zürich (takes about 12 minutes). At the train station walk towards station "Bahnhofbrücke". Take the tram number 4 towards Tiefenbrunnen for 8 stops. Exit at "Feldeggstraße". Walk back and take the first left turn onto Mainaustraße. The hotel is located on the left side (number 24).
By taxi:
Taxi trip from the airport to the hotel takes about 25 minutes.
By car:
- Drive towards Bellevue fahren onto Bellerivestraße along the lake.
- Pass the opera house and turn left onto Kreuzstraße.
- Take the first right turn onto Dufourstrasse that leads to Mainaustraße (4th street on the right). The hotel is located there.

If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

How to reserve

Insert the check in and check out dates in the form. The search engine will list you all the available rooms. By clicking on the room's name you will be able to visualize all the details.
Choose the number of room you would like to book and click on the reserve it button. To proceed with the reservation process you will have to fill the reservation forms with your personal data.
Once you have finished with the reservation process You'll receive an automatic confirmation message from the hotel with all the hotel details. You will not receive any further communication from the hotel, since this confirmation message is definite.
No charge on your credit card
Your credit card details are needed in order to guarantee the reservation and no charges will be made. Credit card informations are sent directly to the property via Secure Server, ensuring these details are protected.
Free Cancellation
The cancellation of the reservation does not involve any additional costs if carried out within the terms of our cancellation policy. In order not to incur in any penalty, you must respect the the terms and conditions of the cancellation accommodation, that you will find published either in the cancellation of the reservation page or inside the reservation form.

The information we request when making your reservation, is requested in order to offer you a professional service.
